We are thrilled to launch Future Sounds of Buenos Aires this month as our first official European release! The compilation comes out on 5th November in Europe and November 20th in the US, and on double vinyl as well.

Already called by the LA Times as “A wildly inventive collection of Argentine music that's as funky and of-the-moment as any instrumental electronic dance music being made right now,” Future Sounds of Buenos Aires is a scene defining collection of rural South-American-styles fused with electronic futurism. The compilation is a snapshot of the burgeoning experimental electronic scene that has emerged in Buenos Aires over recent years, that we are excited to share with the world.

We teamed up a powerful duo of artists from both the US and Argentina for the album artwork and poster to represent the unique mix of South American and Western cultures represented in the project. Check out our new site with an interactive musical map of Argentina and bios of all of the artists! With your purchase of the CD, you also get a fold out copy of the map as a poster!

With our first tour in Patagonia and shows in 10 different cities all over the world, the ZZK crew is keeping busy this September!

As Frikstailers are putting the finishing touches on their debut LP “En Son de Paz” they are bringing the live show to dance floors and festivals all over Latin America. This month they will be playing their first show ever in Lima with our partners at Veltrac Music. They are responsible for the spicy new tropical parties called Fuacata at Bizarro Bar that have already seen the likes of Chancha Vía Circuito, El Remolón, Super Guachin, and Villa Diamante. Veltrac will also be releasing ZZK albums in Peru, and the ZZK crew is very excited to be sharing their sound and playing admist the the bubbling Peruvian underground music scene that is giving birth to amazing new acts like Dengue Dengue Dengue, Deltatron, Animal Chuki and Chong X.
