Hermetics
Santiago Niño, also known as HERMETICS, is an eclectic electronic musician originally from Bogotá, Colombia, and currently based in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He has released an impressive amount of music across a variety of genres and renowned labels.
In 2017, Hermetics had his first original release on the legendary electronic music label R&S Records with the track "Collider." Towards the end of 2018, Hermetics released his first 4-track EP on R&S titled "Techgnosis." Since then, he has released several singles and EPs on labels such as Optimo Music, ZZK Records, and Multi Culti.
During the summer of 2020, his single "Escaping Samsara" was released on R&S Records and reached the top 5 of Beatport's Techno chart. He has also had success with his remixes for artists such as Nicola Cruz, Chancha Via Circuito, and Paloma Del Cerro.
In the fall of 2021, Hermetics released the "High Strangeness EP" on the Scottish label Optimo Music, and in early 2022, he surprised with his first 7-track EP on Multi Culti, which includes a remix by Nicola Cruz.
His music has been very well-received in the electronic scene and has managed to appear on top charts in genres like Techno and Futuristic Dembow. Additionally, he is known for his powerful and multifaceted DJ sets and his exploration of new sounds and unique percussive atmospheres.
